We are the Bruhn family, and we love dogs and puppies! With five kids and a few dogs, we are certainly a busy family but I wouldn't have it any other way! Our dogs are a part of our family and we love them dearly. We began our dog breeding adventure with our first Golden Retriever, Jewel, who is now a retired member of our family. Since then, we've added a few dogs to our family; each one is considered and treated like a family pet.
All of us in our family of seven are involved with our dogs. Our five children are responsible for some dog chores and playing with the dogs and puppies. This ensures our puppies are well socialized and given lots of love! We enjoy the entire process of breeding - selecting breeding pairs, planning litters for excellent health and temperament, and seeing the beautiful puppies that are the outcome. All of us spend hours and hours with our new puppies before they go to their new homes, and we absolutely love it! We also enjoy blessing families with a wonderful new puppy to love!
All of our puppies go to their new homes healthy and happy. The puppies are also very well socialized with children, adults, and other dogs. We also believe it's important to expose our puppies to different places and noises. We play with them inside in different rooms in our house; we bring them outside to run in the grass and/or snow; we play music and create plenty of noise in the room that they spend most of their time. All of these situations help our puppies grow up to be well-socialized, confident dogs.
